We have all heard the song “The Gambler” by Kenny Rogers. He talks about reading people’s faces as a gambler and knowing when to fold, when to hold and when to walk away. As trainers and facilitators, we must also know how to read our rooms and how to assist with the group’s development and promote a positive learning environment.  Tuckman’s group development model explains that as the group develops, evolves and matures the trainer’s style must also change.

In this webinar, we will revisit these 4 stages of group development and understand the different roles and skills that you need to bring to each stage. We may be the subject matter expert and the trainer, but if we adopt the trainer style throughout the whole workshop we risk stifling innovation, creativity and the learning environment.
